PdfGrabber is interesting for those who do a lot of work with PDF documents and would prefer to or have to edit the document contents.

The PdfGrabber offers the following output formats/export targets: RTF (with Microsoft Word, OpenOffice and WordPad support), Text (ASCII), Excel, XML, DXF, PowerPoint as well as export of any images contained (Tiff, Jpeg, Bitmap, EMF, PNG, TGA, PSD) and the export of entire PDF pages as an image.

Depending on requirements, PdfGrabber offers different export profiles and options. For example, the user can select options for layout that is very close to the original or export texts as pure flow text for subsequent customized processing.

In addition to texts and images, PdfGrabber can be used to export tables and lists into common formats e.g. Excel or CSV. Thus PdfGrabber is also suitable for processing price lists, flight plans and travel dates, parts lists, etc.

From version 2.0 and later, the PdfGrabber also features DXF export. This enables the conversion of PDF files containing technical drawings into the universal DXF format, which, for example, can be imported into AutoCAD and subsequently processed.

The Standard and Professional version 3.0 of PdfGrabber comes with a PDF printer with which exported documents can be reconverted into PDFs. The required PDFs can be exported, the necessary changes made and the file then subsequently saved again as a PDF. The creation of PDF documents is possible from any Windows application using a printer driver.
